As an online article author for 19-months I have tried many different tactics to promote the articles I write. Like most online article authors I have watched my statistics and number of article views to see what works and what does not. Most authors do this and experiment with key-wording, titles and sizes of articles. Indeed, this makes sense.

One online article submission site entrepreneur did a double blindfolded experiment with a few of his own articles and found that certain articles pull better than others due to Titles and key words used in these titles. Indeed, and his easy experiment can be multiplied many fold to get the exact same answer over and over again. Some say it is good, some say it is not. But it is what it is and it works. I have spent hours on hours with a calculator pouring over my stats, keeping track of them for months on end literally each hour or couple of hours of every waking hour.

It is ultra-important to write quality articles and equally important to write lots of them. More over those who pay attention to key-wording, titles and subject matter will get the most traffic and the best qualified traffic and this means better statistics, more readers and more influence with the articles you write. Consider this in 2006.
